The interior of this dish is black enameled, (the interior is sand color for the red color) which provides better scratch resistance and makes maintenance easier.
Cast iron, a carbon-rich iron alloy, is one of the materials that best retains heat, diffuses it slowly, and redistributes it perfectly evenly. Once the cast iron is hot enough, its heat-retaining properties allow you to reduce the heat to a minimum, allowing dishes to simmer gently.
This dish can be used on all hobs, including induction, as well as in the oven.

CARE :
Culture your dish Before first use: Clean it with hot water and let it dry. Then, brush the inside with a little vegetable oil. Heat over low heat for a few minutes and wipe off any excess oil.
Wash your dish under hot water with dish soap and a non-abrasive sponge.
For delicate cleaning, feel free to soak your dish in hot water.
It can also be washed in the dishwasher.
Dry your dish thoroughly after washing and make sure it is completely dry before storing. If oxidation appears—this is harmless—add a little cooking fat to the affected areas.
